Harbert House

Harbert House is a planned affordable housing community on North Colorado Boulevard in Denver, designed for people with physical and intellectual disabilities. It sits on a major north-south corridor with transit, groceries, and medical care close by, which matters more than usual for residents who do not drive.

Atlantis Community Housing is developing Harbert House with Medici Communities and Shopworks Architecture, the same team behind Henninger Legacy Homes and Liberty House. The design follows the approach we use everywhere: physical and cognitive accessibility in every home, trauma-informed and universal design throughout, and services residents choose rather than services attached to a lease. Harbert House is in predevelopment, and we will add detail here as the project advances.
