Liberty House

This $23.3 million housing development sits on a half-acre site that’s been ground-leased from the Urban Land Conservancy. The site is in Denver’s West Colfax neighborhood, near Sloan’s Lake.

Replacing a vacant, obsolete building, Liberty House provides 63 permanently affordable apartments, including six two-bedroom live-in aide units for residents with significant support needs, a population the market almost never builds for.

Liberty House is seeking 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Section 811 rental assistance, and a layered Medicaid-funded service model. The four-story building uses trauma-informed and universal design, with a rooftop deck, a community garden, and shared gathering spaces. Services will be delivered with ServiceSource and REVEL, and all residents receive RTD passes. Atlantis has site control and a shovel-ready design.
